The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) in the South-West Region has pledged its support to the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja. This is contained in a congratulatory message by the NIMC Head of Inspectorate and Enforcement, Mr Aniye Olufemi, to Oba Ladoja, made available to newsmen in Ibadan on Thursday.

Oluwafemi congratulated Ladoja on his ascension to the throne, noting that his leadership, wealth of experience, and dedication to the people of Ibadan made him an exemplary traditional ruler. As a former Governor of Oyo State and Senator, your Majesty has consistently demonstrated wisdom, integrity, and a deep commitment to the welfare of your people.

We have no doubt that your reign will usher in a new era of peace, prosperity, and progress for Ibadanland, while preserving the rich cultural heritage of the yoruba nation, he said. Oluwafemi prayed for God to grant Ladoja long life, good health, and divine wisdom as he navigate the complexities of modern times. We pledge our support and loyalty to your reign and we look forward to working with you to build a brighter future for Ibadanland, he said.

Also, the commission’s Head of Customer Care in Oyo State, Alhaji Akeem Ogundeji also congratulated Oba Ladoja, saying Ibadan indigenes would flourish under Ladoja and prayed for God’s protection. The 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland will be installed on Friday at the Mapo hall in Ibadan
